The simple difference between crawling and indexing is, crawling is how search engines discover new pages and indexing is the process of ranking them on the basis of ranking criteria. Crawlers crawl frequently to find the updated content. Different search engines have different crawl frequency and indexing methods. A better site structure will help the spiders to crawl the website better and in an effective way.

What is a Technical SEO audit?

Technical SEO audit is the process of finding technical defects in a Website. There are many tools both free and paid that do the website audit in a short span of time without much effort but the essence lies in the way you solve those technical defects.

How to add robot.txt file in WordPress?

Robot.txt is responsible for allowing or disallowing any crawlers to crawl a particular page. Robot.txt file can be accessed by just typing your domain name followed by /robot.txt.

What are breadcrumbs?

Websites having deep site structures such as e-commerce websites use breadcrumbs to tell the users where they are and breadcrumbs make navigation easy. But breadcrumbs are not necessary for small websites.

What is an Orphan Page?

A page that has no incoming internal links is called an orphan page. If you don’t internal link your page it is impossible for crawlers and users to reach that page.
